What’s this Woman’s Story?

My story probably overlaps with yours in a lot of ways.  I started my career in advertising and spent a good portion of that time living and cooking in a small Manhattan apartment.  People thought this was a little nuts.  After nine years in the ad business, I left Manhattan, my tiny apartment, and my hectic career and switched to another challenging career as a teacher in an urban school.  I still cooked, and I was joined by my new husband, who was a closet foodie, himself.  Seven years later, I am home with two small boys.  One of them will eat nothing and the other, seemingly, anything.  Between working as a college composition instructor, taking care of the boys, and desperately attempting to keep up with the mess all children make (especially mine?) I am pretty busy.  But I still find time to indulge in one of my favorite passions – cooking.  In some ways it makes my life harder.  In some ways easier.  That’s why I’m here.
